더프리뷰서울 2025 아트페어에서 에이피오프로젝트는 작품의 내러티브를 보다 드라마틱하게 전달하기 위해 ‘여닫을 수 있는 구조’의 설치 방식을 선보였습니다. 최지원 작가의 ⟪Picture in Picture⟫ 시리즈는 그림 안에 또 하나의 그림을 그려내고 있는 구성으로, 작품을 열면 작가의 또 다른 드로잉 작품을 볼 수 있도록 하여 작가가 말한 “짧은 연극과 같은 회화적 경험”을 구현하고자 하였습니다.⠀

황유윤 작가는 수집한 골동품과 수많은 정물을 눈으로 수집하고, 그것들을 재료로 ‘허구의 사물’을 만들어냅니다.
⟪Curtain Call⟫은 ‘허구의 사물’들이 하나의 무대처럼 배치되어 있는 작품으로, 작품을 양쪽으로 열 수 있는 구조로 설치해 그 안에 ⟪Curio⟫ 시리즈를 배치하여 마치 장식된 골동품 캐비닛의 문을 여는 듯한 감각을 연출하였습니다.

At 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗦𝗲𝗼𝘂𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 Art Fair, 𝗔𝗣𝗢𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 presented an installation with an “open-and-close structure” to deliver each artwork’s narrative in a more dramatic and engaging manner.⠀

Jione Choi’s ⟪Picture in Picture⟫ series features paintings that contain another painting within. To translate the artist’s intention of offering “a brief theatrical painting experience,” we designed the installation so that opening the work would reveal additional drawings by the artist.

Yuyun Hwang collects antiques and various still life objects through close visual observation, using them as materials to construct “fictional objects.” Her work ⟪Curtain Call⟫ showcases these fictional objects arranged like a theatrical stage. We installed the piece using a two-way opening structure, placing the Curio series inside, evoking the sensation of opening a cabinet filled with ornate antiques.⠀
