Miju Lee consistently explores the familiarity of everyday life, uncovering hidden clues and possibilities for new interpretation, and capturing them on canvas. Rather than dramatizing grand events or intense emotions, she composes her paintings like entries in a visual diary, portraying the ordinary scenes that fill daily existence. Over time, seemingly insignificant objects and experiences accumulate into sensations and memories, becoming the quiet force that sustains life. The artist names this force "soft power," and continues to build it throughout her practice, affirming the subtle yet enduring vitality found in the overlooked rhythms of the everyday.
Jaewon Kang explores the future of sculpture through 3D modeling, expanding its possibilities across diverse media. In addition to his widely recognized inflatable works, he also creates video pieces that Situate sculpture within virtual environments. Beginning with Trippy (2019), Kang applied 3D modeling functions to basic solids such as spheres and cylinders, generating forms that convey speed and movement. Exploiting the medium's ease of replication and variation, he developed a series of works titled Trippy_2 through Trippy_16. For this fair, the artist presents four representative pieces, each distinguished by its unique form and vivid color.
